Abid Ali

Abid Ali is a managing OT Incident Response Consultant at IBM, bringing over 14 years of experience in Industrial Control Systems, OT Cybersecurity, and instrumentation. Abid has previously held positions as Project Manager and Lead Industrial Cyber Security Program at AES Ras Laffan Operating Company WLL, where they successfully led major projects and initiatives in plant DCS upgrades and cybersecurity. They have also worked as a Lead DCS Engineer and I&C Engineer in various companies, focusing on system installations and maintenance. Abid holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, and has acquired multiple industry certifications, including PMP and level 4 certifications in ICS/OT.
