Alan Benner has extensive experience in the technical field, beginning as a Member of Technical Staff-1 at Bell Laboratories from August 1986 to August 1988. Following this, Alan has been with IBM since June 1992, currently holding the position of Senior Technical Staff Member. Additionally, Alan collaborated with MIT from 2005 to 2012. In terms of education, Alan earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from the University of Colorado at Boulder between 1988 and 1992 and completed a Master of Science in Science and Technology Commercialization at the University of Texas, Austin from 2002 to 2003.
