Alan Cooper is the Chief Architect for Resiliency Services at IBM's GTS IS Delivery Europe, a position they currently hold. Alan has extensive experience at IBM, where they served as an IT Architect from 2005 to 2012, leading various roles including SmartCloud Resilience Architecture and Team Lead. Prior to joining IBM, Alan worked as a Field Service Engineer at AT&T Global Services and as a Field Engineer at Datalect. Alan earned a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Warwick between 1990 and 1993.
