Alexander Brooks

Alexander Brooks is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at IBM Research, where they contribute to open-source projects focused on multimodal large language models and develop Python libraries for training and serving these models. They previously held roles at Lockheed Martin as an Autonomous Systems Intern, and at the Visual and Autonomous Exploration Systems Research Laboratory, where they worked on various projects related to image processing and autonomous robotics. Earlier experience includes roles as a Big Data Intern at MITRE and as an Undergraduate Lab Assistant at the University of Arizona. Alexander holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Arizona and a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
