ALI KOC

Ali Koc is an Advisory Software Engineer at IBM's TJ Watson, where they focus on enterprise optimization problems under uncertainty and cognitive algorithms. They earned a PhD in Operations Research from The University of Texas at Austin, following an MSc in Industrial Engineering from Bilkent University. Ali's past experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at IBM, working on energy-related business analytics, and developing parallel decomposition techniques at the San Diego Supercomputer Center. Additionally, they contributed to improving a heuristic scheduling tool during an internship at Freescale Semiconductor.
