Austin Flon

Austin Flon is an experienced leader in portfolio development, currently serving as the Portfolio Development Leader for IBM Ventures since June 2014, where responsibilities include creating and leading the Portfolio Development practice and contributing to the strategic direction of the fund. Previous roles at IBM include Innovation Leader in New York City, coordinating efforts across global startup accelerators, and Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst, where valuation analyses and due diligence for acquisitions were conducted. Additional experience includes serving as a Board Observer at Copado and a Startup Mentor at WEVE Acceleration. Austin's foundational role as an Equity Analyst at Ram Fund involved managing a micro fund and applying a value-based investment strategy. Austin holds a Bachelor's of Science in Finance from the University of Rhode Island, completed in 2014.
