Bill Hanson

Bill Hanson is a Consulting System Architect at IBM GBS with over 43 years of experience in high-performance computing (HPC) and scientific computing. They began their career as a System Engineer at IBM Federal Systems Division, progressing to Senior Member Research Staff at IBM’s Palo Alto Scientific Center, where they developed advanced algorithms for medical imaging. In their current role, Bill leads technical teams on significant system deliveries, including a notable project for the U.S. Department of Energy. They hold a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
