Brian Power

Brian Power is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in tax controversy and transfer pricing. Beginning as an Attorney Advisor at the United States Tax Court from February 2008 to May 2010, Brian progressed to a Staff I position in International Tax Practice at Ernst & Young for a brief period in late 2007. Subsequently, Brian joined Mayer Brown as an Associate specializing in tax-related matters from May 2010 to May 2015, before transitioning to IBM as Tax Counsel from May 2015 to September 2021. Currently, Brian serves as Vice President and Tax Counsel at IBM, having transitioned from a prior role as Director and Tax Counsel. Brian holds a B.S. in Public Accounting & Taxation from Fordham University, a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, and an LLM in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center.
