Christopher Meyer

Christopher Meyer is a Senior Technical Staff Member at IBM with 40 years of experience in software development, design, architecture, testing, and management. Since 2018, they have led the network security strategy for the z/OS platform, focusing on pervasive encryption and regulatory compliance. Previously, they served as the z/OS Communications Server Network Security Architect, responsible for the network security architecture across multiple releases. Christopher has also held various roles in product development and management, including two years as a software development manager. They are an active member of the East Tennessee State University Computer Science Advisory Board and mentor students in North Carolina State University's Pathfinders program.
