David Hewitt is currently the Executive Director at IBM UK & Ireland, where they lead IBM's Automation software business and oversee financial performance and business strategy. They are a member of the Senior Leadership Team and focus on the market execution of IBM's SaaS M&A strategy, with notable recent acquisitions including HashiCorp and Apptio. Previously, they held several executive roles within IBM and worked in global tech organizations such as Intel and HP. David has a strong interest in mental health and volunteers as a listener for Samaritans. They are pursuing a PGCert in IT Management and hold a First Class Honours BSc in Computer Science from Queen's University Belfast.
