Dawn Rivers

Dawn Rivers is an experienced professional in tax analysis and compliance, with a career spanning over two decades at IBM Corporation. Beginning as a Sales & Use Tax Analyst, responsibilities included managing customer exemptions and handling jurisdictional audits. Dawn progressed to the role of Indirect Tax & Acquisition Audit Analyst, collaborating with jurisdictions on audits and reviewing indirect tax exposure. Subsequently, as Indirect Tax Audit & Acquisitions Lead, oversight of audit teams for multiple companies was provided. Currently serving as Regional Indirect Tax Manager for North America, previous roles also include U.S. Indirect Tax Compliance Manager, overseeing various tax compliance aspects. Prior to IBM, experience was gained in accounting at General Signal. Educationally, Dawn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Post University.
