Deanna Berger is a Master Inventor and Senior Technical Staff Member (STSM) at IBM, specializing in Hardware Development and Logic Design for IBM z Systems. Currently, as the zSystems Microprocessor Cache Architecture Lead, they oversee the architecture and development of the next generation of IBM Z Enterprise Microprocessor Nest Subsystem. Previously, Deanna contributed to microprocessor shared cache architecture and led cross-functional teams in hardware development at IBM from 2013 to 2019. They also served as an Area Governor for Toastmasters District 53 from 2010 to 2011. Deanna holds an M.B.A. in International Business from SUNY New Paltz and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Clarkson University.
