DeShaun Bennett

DeShaun (D.B.) Bennett is a seasoned professional in AI governance, data science, and equity consulting, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Sovereign Sounds since 2018. Previously, they held roles such as a Data Scientist and Global Program Leader for AI Governance at IBM, where they significantly contributed to the development of strategies and frameworks for AI ethics and governance. D.B. has also worked with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and served as a Research Assistant for the Rutgers Center for Minority Serving Institutions. They are pursuing degrees in Sociology, Education Policy, and Public Administration from Morehouse College and the University of Pennsylvania.
