Edem Honu

Edem Honu is an accomplished engineering professional currently serving as an IBM Master’s Fellow at IBM since January 2025. With a diverse background in aerospace engineering, Edem has held various roles including a NASA EPSCoR Scholar at Louisiana State University and Graduate Research Assistant at Southern University and A&M College, focusing on high temperature materials and computational modeling. Additional experiences include serving as a Scientific Reviewer for the Journal of Laser Applications and contributing to the development of shape memory alloys under the NASA USTP at Penn State. Edem has also played crucial roles in sports mentoring and education, having coordinated programs for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and assisted in multiple teaching and research capacities at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Edem holds a bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering and a master’s degree in Advanced Engineering Materials and Thermal Science Engineering along with certifications in data analytics and machine learning.
