Eva Smith

Eva Smith is a highly qualified professional with extensive experience in process integration and materials science. After earning a B.A. in Chemistry and Mathematics from Scripps College, followed by a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Cornell University, Eva worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Cornell University from August 2009 to July 2017, focusing on the prediction and characterization of thin films of ferroelectric materials. Subsequently, Eva held positions as Process Integration Engineer at Intel Corporation from July 2017 to May 2021, and as a Senior Process Integration Engineer at Applied Materials from May 2021 to December 2024. Currently, Eva serves as a Staff Process Integration Engineer at IBM since February 2025. Throughout the career, responsibilities have included design rule ownership, high-K metal gate integration, and leading various integration efforts in advanced semiconductor technologies.
