Gary Craig is a seasoned Technical Solution Architect with over 30 years of experience in IT solution design, enterprise software system design, application modernization, and cloud-native application architecture. They currently serve as an Adjunct Faculty at Virginia Tech, co-developing and teaching a senior capstone course in Solution Architecture. Previously, Gary held roles at IBM, including Technical Solution Architect and Technical Sales Enablement Lead, where they focused on curriculum design and technical enablement for pre-sale Solution Architects. They also contributed as a Technical Curriculum Developer at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and as Principal Consultant at Superlative Software Solutions, impacting customer product adoption and technical sales productivity through extensive curriculum development. Gary earned a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BS in Electrical Engineering from West Virginia University.
