Garyl Hester

Garyl Hester is an experienced software developer with a diverse background in cloud computing and software engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Software Developer - Cloud at IBM since October 2021, Garyl focuses on coding CRDs, APIs, and Kubernetes controllers in Golang for Software-Defined Networking on IBM Cloud. Prior to this role, Garyl was a Senior Software Engineer at REX, where notable contributions were made to the REXFlow workflow automation project using Kubernetes and Istio. Garyl's experience also includes working at Amazon Lab126 as a Software Development Engineer (SDE) in Accessibility, enhancing digital products for individuals with disabilities, and being a founding member of the Amazon Business project during tenure at Amazon.com, which focused on integrating business solutions into the retail platform.
