Hassi Norlen is an accomplished engagement leader at IBM Innovation Studio in Washington, DC, with over 25 years of experience in natural sciences, software, and quantum computing. They have managed end-to-end client engagements, developed workshops, and contributed significantly as an IBM Quantum Technical Ambassador and Qiskit Advocate. Hassi authored the 2020 book “Quantum Computing in Practice with Qiskit and IBM Quantum Experience,” inspired by their extensive experience with Qiskit in various educational settings. They hold a Master’s degree in Physics from Uppsala University and have held various roles in technical writing, journalism, and teaching throughout their career. Hassi is currently exploring new opportunities in Europe from their base in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Bavaria.
