Heather Saunders

Heather Saunders is a Senior Software Engineering Manager at IBM Quantum, where they oversee multiple backend development teams to enhance user engagement with IBM's quantum computing services. With a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Duke University, Heather has a rich background in software development, having previously managed teams and served in various roles within IBM, including a project manager for WebSphere. They are actively involved in community and volunteer initiatives, such as serving as President of the IBM Toastmasters club and organizing fundraising for The Raleigh Ringers handbell choir.
