Jake Carlson is currently a Brand Sales Specialist at IBM, enrolled in Global Sales School with plans to sell IBM Z services in the federal market. Previously, Jake gained experience as a Quality Assurance Engineering Intern at GCON Inc., ensuring clean room PODs met customer specifications, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Texas A&M University, optimizing a sleep apnea monitor and improving its software. Additional experience includes serving as a Warehouse Team Member at Andra Group, a Certified Lifeguard at Spring Creek Swim and Tennis Club, and volunteering at Brady Senior Services – Catholic Charities Dallas. Jake also contributed to the development of a monitoring apparatus for an ECMO device during undergraduate research at enmodes GmbH. Jake holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Texas A&M University and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer and Information Technology at the University of Pennsylvania.
