Jeff Tan

Jeff Tan is a Delivery Consultant in Technology Expert Labs (Security) at IBM, focusing on system integrity and security. They have extensive experience in network management, operating systems, distributed computing, and network security, supporting high-performance systems such as the IBM Blue Gene/Q. Jeff previously worked as a Cloud/Infrastructure Engineer and a High Performance Computing Specialist at IBM, and served as a System Administrator at IBM Research Australia, where they were the Security Compliance Focal. They earned a PhD in distributed databases from Monash University and have contributed as a lecturer and e-Research Software Specialist at Monash University.
