Johan Heij

Johan Heij is currently the CGM and General Director of IBM NL, as well as an Executive Advocate for the Dutch government, a role they have held since 2022. Previously, they served as an Executive and Sector Leader in Telco, Media, and Utilities at IBM Benelux from 2008 to 2012. Johan has extensive experience in consulting, having held various roles including Partner at PWC and Manager at Coopers & Lybrand Consulting. They began their career as a Senior Consultant at Andersen Consulting and have also contributed to R&D at Nedlloyd as a Data Modeller and Data Scientist. Johan holds a degree in Economics from the University of Groningen, which they completed in 1990.
