John Rozen

John Rozen is a Program Director at IBM, overseeing the Research AI Hardware Center since September 2010. Prior roles at IBM include Manager, focusing on the physics of AI and neuromorphic computing as well as beyond-CMOS materials and devices, and a Research Staff Member, specializing in high-k/metal gate technologies and materials development. Prior to IBM, John Rozen worked as a Collaborating Researcher at CRIEPI, where the design and implementation of oxide-based SiC power devices were emphasized, and as a Research Associate at Vanderbilt University, concentrating on silicon carbide MOSFETs mobility optimization. John Rozen holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science from Vanderbilt University, along with Master's degrees in Materials Science and Physics from Vanderbilt University and Université libre de Bruxelles, respectively, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics & Engineering from Université libre de Bruxelles.
