Jonas Plum

Jonas Plum is a highly experienced security professional with a robust background in cybersecurity and digital forensics. Currently a Staff Security Engineer at IBM since September 2025, Jonas previously held a similar position at HashiCorp from July 2022 to August 2025, where expertise in security engineering was honed. Prior experience includes roles such as Senior Manager of Cyber Security at Infineon Technologies and Lead Engineer in Digital Forensics and Malware Analysis at Siemens. Early career foundations were built at Polizei Hessen as an IT Specialist for Computer Forensics and through internships and student positions at Alvarez & Marsal and the Fraunhofer Institute for Secure Information Technology SIT. Jonas holds a Master of Science in IT Security from Technische Universität Darmstadt and a Bachelor of Science in Digitale Media and Games from Hochschule Trier, supplemented by studies at Queensland University of Technology.
