Jörg Behrend

Jörg Behrend is currently a Senior Software Engineering Manager at IBM Quantum, where they focus on solving cross-project dependencies and driving agile transformation. They have previously held leadership roles in hardware development at IBM, including managing teams dedicated to hardware verification, logic design, and Linux development for z/Mainframe systems. Jörg's early career included a role as a consultant at Oasys GmbH and experience as a research assistant at the University of Tübingen, where they supervised students and engaged in research on verification methodologies. They hold a Doctoral Degree in Computer Science and a Diplom in Bioinformatics from the University of Tübingen.
