Jun Sawada holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin, where they studied from 1993 to 1999. They served as an Assistant Instructor at the same institution in 1999. Since 2000, Jun has been a Research Staff Member at IBM, focusing on projects related to formal verification, server microprocessor designs, dynamic logic circuits, floating point unit designs, and BlueGene supercomputer designs, currently working on spiking neural network chips based on asynchronous circuits.
