Kayla Lee, PhD, is currently the Global Lead for IBM Quantum Ecosystem Growth, where they lead initiatives to expand and engage the global quantum ecosystem. With a strong background in molecular and cellular biology, having earned their PhD from Harvard University, Kayla previously served as an industry consultant and product manager at IBM, working with Fortune 500 companies and scientific communities to explore and implement quantum computing applications. They are also instrumental in launching the IBM-HBCU Quantum Center to enhance diversity and educational opportunities in quantum computing. Prior to joining IBM, Kayla conducted research at prominent institutions, including Harvard and Yale, and contributed to educational outreach at HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology.
