Kyle Giesen

IBM zSystems Chief System Architect

Kyle Giesen is currently the IBM zSystems Chief System Architect, serving as the development technical lead for system design and overseeing the system plan of record for the zSystems family of servers. Previously, Kyle held roles as a PCB Technologist and Design Engineer at IBM, where they defined cross sections and material characterization for PCBs used in IBM servers. Earlier in their career, Kyle interned as an Electrical Engineering Intern at both Texas Instruments and Electro-Mechanical Industries. Kyle earned a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
