Lan Luo possesses extensive experience in the semiconductor field, having served in various technical roles across prominent companies. At GLOBALFOUNDRIES from July 2015 to September 2018, a senior member of the technical staff contributed to customer engagements for 7nm technology. Prior to this, experience includes work as a research staff member at Southeast University, focusing on RF digital television receiver chip design and leading efforts in an embedded microprocessor project. An internship at Qualcomm involved wafer-level data collection and silicon characterization. Currently, as a senior hardware development engineer at IBM, duties include representing IBM in the CMC BSIMCMG work group and leading the development of FinFET cryogenic compact models. Additional contributions to IBM as an advisory engineer/scientist involved compact modeling and device optimization for advanced technologies, while research assistant experience at Auburn University included significant work on cryogenic temperature operations.
