Laura Marshall is a Visual Designer at IBM since July 2019 and has experience in academia as a Lead and Assistant Guest Lecturer at the University of Reading from October 2019 to January 2025. Laura's teaching roles included managing a second-year app project, facilitating design thinking workshops, and assessing student presentations and projects. Previously, Laura operated as a self-directed T-shirt designer for Redbubble for over seven years while fulfilling a mentorship role within the Graphics department at the University of Reading from October 2016 to July 2019. Additional experience includes a Design Assistant Internship at Creative & Print Studio in July 2018 and part-time work as a Sales Assistant at CeX from July 2015 to August 2018. Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Communication from the University of Reading and A levels in Geography, Maths, and Product Design from Windsor Girls’ School.
