Lucas Baier

Lucas Baier is an AI Architect at IBM and a PhD candidate at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Previously a Research Associate at the Karlsruhe Service Research Institute (KSRI), they explored the application of Machine Learning in healthcare, focusing on reducing patient waiting times. Lucas holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from KIT and has gained extensive experience in data science through various roles, including a Master Thesis at ABB on fault prediction in chemical processes and internships at companies like Bosch and Deutsche Bank. They are currently assisting clients in deploying Generative AI solutions at IBM.
