Marek is a software engineer with a strong focus on backend development, primarily in Node.js and Typescript, while also possessing skills in frontend, DevOps, and automated testing. They began their career as a Junior Software Engineer at FREQUENTIS Solutions s.r.o. from 2016 to 2019, and later worked as a System Integrator at CGI in 2015-2016. Marek transitioned to a Software Engineer role at GoHealth Slovakia from 2020 to 2021, before taking on a Senior Software Engineer position at IBM, where they are currently employed. Additionally, Marek briefly attended Tallinna Tehnikaülikool in 2017.
