Marlon P. has extensive experience in data science and technical consulting, currently serving as a Data Scientist in Business Analytics at IBM, focusing on integrating data and AI-driven analytics into workflows. Previously, Marlon held roles at Pirchiner.co as a Technical Consultant, and at Paulista Broker Society, where advanced financial trading systems were developed. Additional positions include R&D Advisory and Scientific Leader at USP/Vale, leading a seismological network, and significant contributions to seismology while at the Universidade de São Paulo as a Scientific Data Architect. Marlon's expertise also includes developing natural language processing models at IBM to mitigate contract risks and collaborating with the CSIRO on ontological information management, as well as developing seismic hazard maps in partnership with the Global Earthquake Model Foundation.
