Maroon Ayoub

Maroon Ayoub is a Research Scientist specializing in distributed AI systems and rapid technical execution at IBM, where they lead work on distributed KV-cache management for scalable AI-aware inference. Previously, they served as a Staff Engineer, overseeing design and implementation for various projects, including the KubeStellar project and AI workload orchestration for the EU Project i4Q. In addition to their role at IBM, Maroon is currently the Head Teaching Assistant and Projects Supervisor at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, guiding student teams in software engineering projects. They co-founded Perfect World VoidX, where they developed software systems and managed community interactions. Maroon holds a BSc in Computer Science with a focus on Software Engineering from the Technion, where they studied from 2019 to 2024.
