Matt Lyteson is an experienced technology executive with a strong background in digital transformation and cloud computing. Currently serving as CIO for Technology Platform Transformation at IBM since October 2019, Lyteson leads the AI-first digital experience strategy, enhancing productivity across the organization. Previously, as VP of CIO Hybrid Cloud Platforms, Lyteson drove the transition to hybrid cloud solutions while focusing on infrastructure modernization and operational excellence. At Red Hat, from 2012 to 2019, Lyteson oversaw digital solutions delivery, enabling business agility and cost efficiency through integrated technology. Lyteson's career began at HP Enterprise Services, where roles included Chief Technology Officer for both the Healthcare and Federal Sector accounts, leading large IT teams and executing critical system development projects. Lyteson holds a Bachelor's of Music in Music Performance from Shenandoah University.
