Matthew Charney

Matthew Charney is an experienced finance professional with over 13 years at IBM, currently serving as a Senior Treasury Manager where they focus on optimizing free cash flow and improving operational excellence. Previously, Matthew held roles such as Partner at IBM Consulting, where they helped enterprises leverage data and technology, and CFO for IBM's Financial Services Sector, driving revenue growth and profitability. In addition to their corporate experience, Matthew is a Boatswain’s Mate in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve, training for maritime emergency response. They are currently pursuing an Executive MBA at the University of Michigan and hold a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Connecticut. Outside of work, Matthew enjoys spending time with their three children and is a dedicated New York Giants fan.
