Michael Donnelly

Michael Donnelly is the Chief Economist at IBM, a role they have held since 2022, where they specialize in enterprise risk analysis and provide insights into global economic issues. With over 20 years of experience in the economics field, Michael has worked on Wall Street with both equity buy and sell-side mutual fund companies, and has engaged in consulting and forecasting for private companies and government entities. They previously served as a Senior Economist at IBM from 2011 to 2022 and held various roles at other organizations including Progressive Business Publications and Nippon Life Insurance. Michael earned a BA from Franciscan University of Steubenville and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.
