Michael Gower

Michael Gower is a Senior Consultant in Accessibility at IBM, where they have contributed to numerous significant projects, including the creation of the IBM Equal Access Toolkit and the IBM Accessibility Checklist. They previously served as an IT Advisory Specialist at IBM and worked as a consultant for the Equipment and Assistive Technology Initiative. In 2015, Michael became a member of the W3C Accessibility Guidelines Working Group, actively involved in developing and maintaining the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. Their experience also includes facilitating workshops for SPARC BC and serving as a Systems Administrator at Price Waterhouse Management Consultants. Michael holds a degree from the University of Victoria, obtained between 1982 and 1988.
