Michael Guillorn

Michael Guillorn is an accomplished professional in the field of advanced computing architecture, currently serving as a Research Staff Member at IBM since April 2015, focusing on hardware implementations of innovative computing architectures. Prior to this role, Michael held positions as Manager of Lithography and Technology Research, where responsibilities included managing a team developing computational lithography solutions and leading efforts in GAA (nanowire) CMOS device scaling. Earlier experience at IBM involved managing a research group exploring patterning technology limits and developing key models and processes for FinFETs and lithography techniques. Michael's career also includes roles at Cornell Nanofabrication Facility, Oak Ridge National Lab, and a strong academic background in Electrical Engineering and Materials Science, culminating in a PhD from the University of Tennessee.
