Omar Anwar

Omar Anwar is the Executive Chairman of IBM Indonesia, a position they have held since 2023. With extensive leadership experience, Omar previously served as President Director at Prudential Syariah and Aberdeen Standard Investments Indonesia, among other prominent roles in the finance and technology sectors. Omar's career includes notable positions like Executive Chairman at Nomura Indonesia and Deputy President Director at PT Pertamina (Persero), demonstrating a strong track record in strategic management. They are currently pursuing a PhD in Strategic Management at the University of Indonesia, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Maryland and an MBA in Finance from The George Washington University.
