Oumar Kane

Oumar Kane is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in document management, communication project management, and organizational leadership. Beginning a career as a Documentalist at CIMDET in 1990, Oumar managed documentation and database systems, later serving as a Documentalist at the French Embassy in Mauritania, where responsibilities included managing the documentation center and supporting cultural development projects. Oumar's career progressed to become the Webmaster and Web Designer at Périphéries Productions before taking on the role of Ingénieur Documentaliste at AREPA, focusing on resource center development. Since 2009, Oumar has held the position of Responsable de projet de communication at IBM France, overseeing intranet content and internal communication media. Additionally, Oumar has been President of ACTUME since its inception in 2002, leading the association dedicated to combating tuberculosis and endemic diseases. Oumar holds multiple degrees in Information Sciences and Technology, further enhancing expertise in the field.
