Prabhat Jha is an accomplished engineering executive with extensive experience in database and AI technologies, currently serving as the Head of Engineering at IBM for the NoSQL Database division since August 2025. Notable roles include leading engineering efforts at DataStax from January 2021 to July 2025, where achievements included the development of serverless databases and AI platforms, and recognition as a Leader in The Forrester Wave 2024 for Vector Database. Prabhat founded Eejot, a nonprofit aimed at promoting computer literacy in rural Nepal, and has held prestigious positions at various organizations including Wootric, Apigee, Red Hat, and MISO.
