Pritish Narayanan

Pritish Narayanan is a Research Staff Member at IBM Research - Almaden since February 2013, specializing in hardware systems for deep learning, particularly as the lead circuit architect for chips utilizing Phase-Change Memory and custom mixed-signal neuron circuitry. Prior to this role, Pritish completed a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where interdisciplinary research focused on semiconductor fabrication, device design, and nanomaterials. Pritish's earlier experience at IBM involved developing ASIC timing methodologies and performing functional verification as a Research and Development Engineer and intern. Pritish holds a B.E (Honors) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and an MSc (Honors) in Chemistry, both from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science.
