Qing Qing is a retired Sr. Research Engineer at IBM, where they focused on R&D for ST-MRAM. Previously, they served as a Sr. Staff Engineer at Seagate Technology from 1998 to 2015, specializing in magnetic head technology for hard drives. Their early career included research engineering at the Beijing General Research Institute for Non-ferrous Metals from 1982 to 1992 and a postdoctoral researcher role at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in 1998. Qing holds a PhD in Materials Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, as well as a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Materials Sciences.
