Radu Florian is a Distinguished Research Staff Member and Senior Manager at IBM Research, where they have been conducting research in Natural Language Processing since 2002. Previously, they managed the Information Extraction group from 2009 to 2018. Radu earned a PhD in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University between 1996 and 2002 and holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Bucharest.
