Rick Power is an Innovation Executive at IBM, where they support research and innovation initiatives within higher education across Canada. Throughout their extensive career, Rick has held various roles, including Client Manager, Systems Engineer, and Watson Business Leader, consistently striving to bring new technologies to customers. They led sales integration for multiple acquisitions and served as a Watson "evangelist," promoting AI across the country. Previously, Rick worked exclusively with Canadian healthcare clients, leveraging artificial intelligence to drive transformation in the national healthcare system. Residing in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Rick actively volunteers and enjoys traveling with their family.
