Ron Daede

Ron Daede is an experienced engineer in the field of hardware verification and software development, with a robust background ranging from 1994 to the present. At Seagate Technology, from 2015 to 2018, Ron served as an SSD Firmware Verification Engineer, evaluating security functions for FIPS certification and debugging design failures. Prior to that role, Ron worked briefly at Computer Task Group as an ASIC Hardware Verification Engineer, focusing on SystemOnChip verification for the OpenPOWER consortium. Since 2018, Ron has been employed at IBM as an ASIC Hardware Verification Engineer, following an earlier position at the same company as a Software Engineer, where system management functions for OS/2 were developed. Additional responsibilities included verifying VHDL and Verilog chip designs and generating silicon-ready SoC designs. Ron holds both a Master’s degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from North Dakota State University.
