Ruichen Zhao

Ruichen Zhao is a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher specializing in quantum computing. They have extensive experience in the design, fabrication, and experimental characterization of quantum devices, particularly those based on superconducting circuits and semiconductor quantum dots. Ruichen has contributed to significant publications, including a first-author paper in Nature Communications and reviews for APS Physical Review Journals. Currently, they work as a Quantum Hardware Designer at IBM, following previous roles at Microsoft and the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Ruichen holds a PhD in Silicon Nano-electronics from the University of New South Wales.
