Ryan Hagemann

Ryan Hagemann is IBM’s global lead for AI policy and the co-director of the IBM Policy Lab. They previously served as the AI Policy Executive at IBM from 2019 to 2023 and held multiple roles at the Niskanen Center, including Senior Director for Policy and Director of Technology Policy, in 2018. Ryan also worked as a Senior Policy Fellow at the International Center for Law and Economics in 2019. They earned a degree in International Relations, Foreign Policy, and Security Studies from Boston University and a Master of Public Policy in Science and Technology Policy from George Mason University.
