Ryan Lewis serves as the Director and Senior Counsel for IBM’s Data and AI Business Unit, where they lead legal strategy for enterprise technologies. They partner with senior leadership to align legal insight with business innovation, focusing on artificial intelligence, data governance, and software development. Ryan previously held roles as an Intellectual Property Attorney and Senior Counsel within IBM, and has interned at Hogan & Rossi and the Putnam County District Attorney's Office. They earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University and a Juris Doctor from New York Law School, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Ryan is a recipient of the Best of IBM Award (2017) and is admitted to practice in New York and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
